It might help to post a pic of the whole coin, both sides.
Have you compared the diameter of this cent to others? So called Texas cents supposedly can lose their plating as they get made.

Hello and welcome to the forum. This is why we ask for full pictures of both the obverse and reverse. Your Lincoln Cent is 100% normal and does not exhibit any signs otherwise. It is not "un-plated" or any type of error or variety. Hope this helps.

Okay so if my coin is a regular penny then why is it a dull Gray and when shined is a very shiny silver like any quarter or dime it's been plated with a different metal it's not copper plated the pictures look like that because I have an orange colored light as you can tell in the first pictures it is a very shiny metallic silver color

Best to remove coins from 2x2 holder before taking photos.Make sure to flatten those staples. John1

Those bumps could be from under the first plating of zinc dust or the second coating of zinc. Not the original un-plated surface. It would look more like this: There are recipes of altering cents on YouTube. Just a face value coin when they are altered.

If my penny were plated by someone, say for a science experiment, it'd weigh more than what it's supposed to it wouldn't weigh less. This one weighs 2.45g or 0.0871oz. 0.0794toz 12.35ct
