1959-D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Is This MD I Cannot Find Any Doubled Die Obverse / DDO That Matches

gsp193 Pillar of the Community United States 975 Posts	Posted 10/03/2021 10:58 pm Looking at the lower lip and bottom of ear, they appear doubled to me, his eye looks like he was punched but maybe that is old damage. I looked but cannot find anything, There is a WDDO-007 on Wexlers site but I dont think this is that. Thanks in advance Report this Post to the Staff

Bumpkin Pillar of the Community United States 509 Posts	Posted 10/04/2021 12:43 am Hello GSP. There are numerous minor DDO's for this year and mint and most revolve around the eye. Unfortunately, your coin appears to exhibit MD on the lip, neck and ear and I don't see it as being consistent with Wexler's DDO-007. This type of MD is typical for several years surrounding this year Cent from my observations. If you are LE please send me a PM. Thanks. I recently retired LE this year, hence trying to learn about my coins I started saving in jars since 80's.
