Hello, new here. Found this quarter and I was wondering if anyone knows if this is an error coin or this is just damage? Any help would be appreciated!

Definitely not an error. That couldn't have happened during the striking of the
coin so it is classed as damage.

In the future, do not hold coins in your hand. Shoot on a flat surface.

Looks like it could be a bit of hole saw damage.
