I like die irregularities and die "events". They can get the imagination going. Here is the second BIE found in the roll from E Scott Coins. 1955 S BIE Lincoln Cent MS Red- (Ldb4-1955 S-006b-4DH+, Cohen #55sB906) http://cuds-on-coins.com/ldb4-1955s-2/(Scroll down to just above half way on the page to find this one on the link above.) From Cuds-on-coins for this type of BIE: ""DH+" indicates a break of ½ or more, but less than ¾ the height of the letters and extends above the highest level of the letters." Enjoy and thanks for looking and any comments. Here are the markers I used to determine the stage (B) on this one. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

I had no issue registering. Did you reach out to the email listed at the site or PM him through this forum since he's a member? He certainly seems interested in keeping customers happy so he would welcome the contact to figure out the issue. PP55

Thanks John1, coinfrog, and coinhunter4.
It's always a good day when you find BU red varieties and are then able to attribute them. These BIE varieties can be tough to attribute but the system at cuds-on-coins is pretty straightforward. Once you get the hang of it, you realize that with all the possibilities for similar ones, the site is designed to help you subdivide them, filter through, and solve the attribution.

Dear John1,
This is E.J. from EScottCoins.com. I was tipped off about your post by Pretespockets55 and want to respond. I attempted to contact you directly but that's (understandably)not an option for new members.
My sincere apologies for your difficulties in connecting with our site. As a very small venue we're hosted on a hard working, caring and growing but budget server. In the recent past they've suffered two catastrophic failures which, as you can imagine, passes along to us. This was the reason you were unable to connect. This has been on heck of a learning curve for us. The first failure we lost everything and had to rebuild essentially from scratch. The individuals that run the server work very hard to learn and grow and they've improved things greatly as a result of the lessons from the failures. So we choose to remain loyal to those working hard to advance. Occasionally we're still receiving email lapses but they don't last more than a short time. They're working on that as well.
If you'll kindly try again we'll get the free coins and the Accurate View Video™ in hand demonstration to you.
Again, apologies for the difficulty. We're a work in progress.
Also, I don't understand the comment about our copyright?
Regards,
E. J. Scott

I noticed at the bottom of your home page the copyright date is 2016,doesn't that mean it has expired? Just registered and it worked fine. Now what do I need to do to get the free video and coin? John1

John1,
No Sir.
Any copyright published after 1978 lasts for the life of the author plus 70 years.
Does this mean we're back to strike one....or is the count 0-1 on you? LOL!
Happy collecting and kind regards,
E. J. Scott
