Hi
I have 3 asperon trachys that are in pretty poor condition. They may even be hopeless but I've had helpless coins that I have posted here before with excellent results.

Wish I could help on these but there isn't enough detail to go on.
Rest in Peace

Not that I've heard. To look authentic, these have to be hammered, by hand. The Chinese specialise in mass-produced, machine-struck fakes.

Hand-struck fake coins (ancient and mediaeval) aimed at collectors tend to come from Eastern Europe, notably Bulgaria. But their products usually look better than these.

I'm no expert in late Byzantine, and I don't know enough about the series to be able to identify the emperor just by the pictures. Sorry.
