The following links detail the prices and photos for the closed vs the open 3 in the date. I find it amazing how such a miniscule difference affecting just one portion of a single number can alter the retail price so drastically.

Correct, the presence or not of arrows is key to having to deal with the closed/open '3' status for this year.
