Hi All,

So as I am going through my rolls of 2021 pennies I came across a die crack on Lincoln's forehead and was putting them aside (nearly 2 rolls worth so far).

At first I didn't notice anything on the reverse, but after looking a few noticed a dot above the "T" in CENT. I compared a couple and they are in the same spot and it does appear to be a die crack.

I then looked the coin over and found another crack in the upper left of the shield and 3 dots on the "E" in CENT.

I will need to look more closely at the OVB cracks I put aside but I have 17 (so far) coins that all have the same markings as the pics.

Thoughts?

Were these rolls all OBW rolls? If so, they most likely came from the same batch of struck coins from the mint and as a result can and will exhibit the same die chips and crack since they all would have come from the same set of dies.

What is OBW? They come from these rolls and I thought they were uncirculated bank rolls, so I understand that if there is one there is a chance of many.

OBW= Original Bank Wrapped

Basically saying that they are (or were) original unopened rolls.
