I have always found that collecting coins from war times was so fascinating. It just makes me think of how far the coin has come to get here in my hands; that the coin has more significance because it came from a historic time period. I have some others mixed in there that a pre and post war times too. Anyways, thanks for checking out my collection!

Although some people won't collect them, Nazi coins of this era are interesting.
The Nazi 5 Mark .900 silver of 1936 -1939 (KM# 94) has a swastika on the reverse.
Extremely scarce are the zinc 5 and 10 Reichpfennig military coins (KM#96 and KM#99), intended for Nazi occupied territories only.

The 1944 Belgium 2 francs (KM#133), was struck in the U.S. on blanks originally intended for the U.S. 1943 zinc coated steel Cent.

@stilloes, that's a nice focused theme you can take almost anywhere!

You can add that U.S.steelie to your WWII set, and if you like Europe, it's not hard to go back to the Franco--Prussian war, Napoleonic times, and then the 30 years' war!

Just one side only.

@sel I do have a couple of Nazi Germany coins, just don't have them pictured. They are interesting for sure!
