I get these offers from the big online dealers where you buy something direct from the US Mint, in this case a 2021 1 oz AGE, and then you flip it directly to, in this case Pinehurst, for $2720.

Do these transactions go smoothly?

Is it worth the trouble?

Answered my own question.

You buy from the Mint for $2620 + $10 shipping. You get $2720 less $60 shipping from Pinehurst so not worth the trouble.

And if you miss the window at Pinehurst, you'll be stuck with a coin that you paid a $800+ premium for.

I haven't sold to Pinehurst. I have done a sale to Minshull Trading that worked out well. As far as shipping goes you can handle it on your own for a good bit less. If you use a credit card with cash back you get a little more. Neither of those things would make it worth spending that much on a coin I could get stuck with unless I'd be happy owning the coin.
