Hello, I found a token in my little old collection of coins and tokens that I cannot seem to find almost anywhere. I've seen only 2 sites with information on it. I have no idea what it is worth but it seems to be very rare. The coin is Odense 1000AR 1988 with a swan head on the other side. Would anybody here know if this is worth anything? Should I get it professionally graded if it is? Any help appreciated!

According to Numista it is Cu/Ni so worth nothing bullion wise.

Trusty ebay sold listings shows a booklet with 5 unused tokens sold for $7 US.

So a single circulated token is probably worth a dollar or two. Certainly not worth getting slabbed and graded. There is some information on the booklet but the image is out of focus. (Hate it when people post poorly focused images).

Slabbing companies generally don't slab tokens, unless they're part of a popular and well-catalogued series. This token is not.

This is an excellent example of the old saying, "Just because something is rare, doesn't mean it's valuable". For something to be valuable, it needs both low supply (rarity) and high demand (lots of people want one).
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
