These unmarked replicas of Louis XVI French ecus are pretty good and could be targeted to US collectors wanting a 1776 dated coin. The weight is reasonable and the seller boasts that they have all different patinas.

A good heads up to everyone out here. Of course they would NEVER show up on ebay as authentic coins ... but just in case

Good to know for prospective buyers of French pre-revolutionary silver is that all larger silver coins from 1685 and forwards have a raised edge inscription, something that seems to be lacking on these replicas.
