I found this token/washer 2 days ago fishing Gulf Mex. On NW FL. Beach near Pensacola. Spanish and Britts were here in 1500s, failed colony Spain, Britt Fortress d.t.

I cleaned off the black sea corrosion. No markings, it is highly magnetic, so not silver or alumin.

I think just washer, but so light and thin. Not like any washer I have. And I have collection and found Minnesota dye error in trees coin few years back, local roll, BHM. MANY DYE CRACKS AND some OLDER COINS, attended coin shows in AL, SADDAM HUSEIN DOLLARS, ERROR COINS, ETC...

Just looks like a corroded washer to me, probably why it is so thin..
There are no markings to say otherwise.

For me the fact that it is readily attracted to a magnet confirms that it is a washer.
