Not a doubled die at all, more like MD. I would be hard pressed, from your pics, to classify this as a FS Jefferson. You have to have 5 full uninterrupted steps to achieve the FS designation. I feel like there is too much damage on the steps for this to fit into this category.

Pictures are distorted, but my guess is just Die Deterioration Doubling.

Despite poor images, This does not appear to be FS.

I agree, not full steps, and not a DDR.

I agree with all of the above, and I will add that FS on newer nickels is no big deal...IMHO.

Hey Fig, I think John1 was implying that the newer Jeffersons are just that- newer. This means, for the most part, that they have not had enough time in circulation, for the majority of the newer Jeffy's, to have gotten all PMD'd up.... But, I have seen 2020 Jeffersons that were demolished with hits all the way around too. As a good rule of thumb, the older the Jefferson, the more valuable they will be if they have a FS designation. There are even some Jefferson dates, if memory serves me correctly, that have never been found with full steps. If they haven't been found by now, I would believe that they don't exist. Hope this helps clarify things.
