Just a question about the value of a bill that I luckily came across:

Here is what I know about the serial number (because math is cool):

01009110's digits sum to 12. In 0.13% of 8-digit numbers, the digits sum to at most 12.

01009110 contains a 4-of-a-kind and 1 triple. Only 0.21% of 8-digit numbers have this combination.

01009110 has 3 unique digits. In 0.71% of 8-digit numbers, there are 3 or fewer unique digits.

01009110 contains 2 pairs together. Only 10% of 8-digit numbers have this combination.

Who do I contact or sell to?

Thank you!

If the 9 was either a 0 or 1, then you would have a binary note, but as of now, I think is only worth $20.

The OPs mathematical description looks suspiciously like it's from the Universal Coolness Index, which is complete rubbish when it comes to identifying fancy serial numbers. The note is a spender in my neck of the woods.

yes it is from the "coolness index"

I do think the mathematical probability is a pretty cool factor.

Does "911" signify an important attachment to September 11th?

What about binary except for the number 9?

Only 3 numbers being used?

Thank you for your replies!

If the serial number was 09112001, that would reference the event.

Binary except for another number is a Trinary. No additional value.

Only three numbers being used is dependent on HOW they're being used.

Thank you everyone. You have been most helpful!

Have a wonderful search.

1. Just out of curiosity, is there a serial number search engine that identifies the ones that are more valuable?

2. Is it of any worth to get a series of bills? such as ending in 9111, 9112, 9113,9114?
