This coin came up on ebay correctly attributed with a auction starting at $35. That seemed kind of low for the coin so I threw in a bid and no one else bid at all so I got it for that price.

How often do you do that? Look for correctly attributed coins on ebay?

As for looking for correctly attributed coins, all the time! I collect Lincoln cents and cherrypicking is an affordable way to add to the collection, but I am always willing to pay a fair price for attributed coins I either need or just like.

Love that variety and feel fortunate to have picked up a slabbed one as well a few years back. I was surprised by the lack of competition when I won it. It's interesting that sometimes unattributed examples will command more interest than attributed ones. Go figure.
