From the crudeness of the writing, lack of date, and hole I suspect this is an imitation of an Ottoman coin, used to adorn clothing. Also known as a "belly dancer token." For all ID requests it's a good idea to include weight to the nearest tenth of a gram and diameter to the nearest millimeter.
