Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has seen this type of error before. It is an 1983 Australian 20 dollar note that is missing the zero from the right side twenty. It is also missing the end of the two.

Is this a common error, what grade do you think this note is and what would it be valued at?

Thanks a lot!

Hi dupp86 and to the forum!
I don't collect notes but you would have to think that an error such as yours would have to be worth something to someone that does.
To give you some indication as to what it may be worth this $2 note had a similar error (scroll down to Lot 3618) which sold for $350 quite a while ago in 2008 https://www.noble.com.au/auctions/s...g=&q=&e=&p=7

Nice find! Not sure what it's called but maybe partially obstructed printing phase?

They're not common and I'd agree with a few hundred dollars.
