How many varieties of '53 Dollars are there? Charlton doesn't seem to be very clear on the subject. Kind of conflicting info. Am I correct to think there are three? FWL - SWL - ARN? Or are there just FWL and SWL.?

There is no ARN and I believe Charlton's is clear about that. There are: NSF, FWL and SWL; SF, FWL and SWL There are also some minor varieties.

One of the reasons I am confused is that the coin with the longer waterlines in the preceding pictures was sold to me, and labeled, as short waterlines by a dealer at Torex. So it would be nice to clear this up.

The dealer was correct, that is the SWL variety.

That would be a SWL; you can still see the lowest water line
