Canadian here, and Well I'm fairly new to Morgan's (I've got a 1921 cull) Ive recently bought a 1885-p morgan that's been graded by CCCS (a fairly reputable Canadian grading service). But the grade on it seems fairly low, especially when I compare it to PCGS ones with the same grade. I know canadian grading is a bit more strict with number grades than the US, but I'm no morgan expert. Would greatly appreciate some other opinions on the grade to see if my hunch is correct. I'll post the actual grade on the holder once I get a few opinions I don't have the coin in hand yet, so these are the only 2 images. Looks like it still has lots of original luster to me

I could see this graded as AU58 and not argue.

The coin is a slider. It could go from 58 to 62.

I'll say AU-58. Most of that high cheek luster is gone.

There seem to be plenty of luster left, just a lot of hits. I still think this is a low Mint State coin, no matter what the grading company says. Unfortunately, I don't think it makes sense to send it out for a second opinion. A 1885 Morgan is fairly common.

Yes, under graded. It is mint state, but low mint state. I'm at MS-61 for this one due to bagginess and luster issues.

A low tier random grading company not over-grading but under? Thats rare
