Given the somewhat soft photos, I'm thinking it's a ding received while the coin has been in circulation. The visual aspect is influenced by Pareidolia. We see many coins on this forum with surface dings/hits which look like numbers, eyes, phantom faces, and much more. Others will come along and weigh-in.

Jamcoin,
WADR;if you study the minting process you will know that it is not possible for the coin to be minted that way. Does anyone have a link to a trustworthy video that shows the minting process?

Just ask yourself how an extra letter could suddenly appear on a coin.
The devices are permanently engraved on the dies. If this was on the die,
then all the coins struck would have that on them.

Wasnt sure if was punched onto like a older worn 1 or some other kind of wrong planchet, I see people finding American coins punch on like Canadian or Netherlands planchets from time to time and dont see how that's even possible but it happens. That's whwhy I asked. The photos suck but it really does look like 2, o well into the spenders I guess, and I'll watch link after I go grab breakfast burritos ;) at least they dont disappoint.. thanks guys
