Another that's not in so hot of condition, but seen so rarely that it's worth posting as a reminder to keep an eye out. While it looks almost impossible to see in the images, well, it is just a bit easier to spot with a loupe. The horizontal crossbar of the secondary D isn't super hard to spot. I think you can even see it in the full coin images.

That's a real nice one. A seldom found variety for sure, and a pretty fair coin you've got here for the grade. Very nice find!

I'm sorry, but I'm not feeling this one here. Your mm appears to be rotated too much clockwise for RPM-016. What appears to be a vertical bar of a D in your closeup pic is outside the lower leg of the 9 in the date. The vertical leg of the "extra" D of FS-502 lies underneath the bottom of the 9 and not outside of it. Just MHO here.

Here is a picture from VV for RPM-016. Note the vertical leg is also much more upright and in a much more perfectly vertical position than what your coin exhibits.

That is a very nice find -- Haven't found one, myself.

Your coin makes it seem as if it should have attributed as a D/D & D.
And the plate coin has something going on in the interior.

Maxed out my text size and still couldn't get my 'D' to the size of the MM.

I looked at that. I'm pretty sure it's just the direction of the flow marks that makes it seem like there a curve of a D there. Pretty sure it's not a thing.

I have one of these and the extra D is seen peaking out the left side of the D, I didn't know they had one above it

I posted a higher-grade example of this one recently as well, so for comparison: http://goccf.com/t/411435

It's really light, but honestly with a loupe the horizontal lower bar of the secondary D is pretty easy to spot if you're looking for it. The rest of it is tough to see other than in very early die states like the one on VV that Bumpkin posted here.
