The Royal Canadian Mint ( RCM) unveiled the world's largest, purest and highest denomination gold coin: the 2007 $1,000,000 (Canadian) Maple Leaf. This 220.5 pound coin contains 99.999% gold, making it the purest coin of its size in the world. Despite its $1,000,000 face value, the gold content of this mega-Maple Leaf is more than double this amount based upon current gold prices.

220.5 pounds=100kg
