I just recently purchased a 1953 small date graded by ICCS and I am getting a bit confused partly from the coinscanada site once again. Can anyone tell me why ICCS & coinscanada does not recognize the SF/NSF designation? Thanks for the help!
All large dates are NSF All small dates are SF I guess they feel it would be redundant to mention both
They also don't mention that all large dates are small diameter like previous years and all small dates are large diameter like present day quarters. Nor do they mention that large date coins have wire rims and small date coins have flat rims.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website
Wow thanks for clearing that up for me DBM. I notice coinscanada did make a reference there to the coin size difference at the bottom as well that's very interesting!
