While there probably is a lot of wear on your cent, wear isn't the main issue AND it isn't a " misprint" it looks like the Die was Struck Through Grease. Could we please see the reverse of your coin. Generally we always need to see both sides of your coin. If indeed this is a " Greaser" if could have a small amount of value, but you'll not get rich over it either.
It was struck during the extra large rim time period. This created a different pattern of die wear on the coins, and the 'L' was affected on these coins on just the VLDS (Very Late Die State). More information on the link below.
