Another album find. Not really sure if this is struck through or a lam, but even on a worn coin that has been cleaned it has decent eye appeal.

Nice find TB.
IMHO, It's looking like a lamination due to the linear appearance of the overall shape as well as the lines that are evident at the bottom of the depression.

Struck through as it stops before the rim. If it were a lamination it would have continued past this point. The weight be close to normal? But with the circulation wear it makes if hard to determine. If you have a Wheat cent with that much wear, you might compare it, but pretty much a guess at this point on the coin life/experiences in circulation.

pretty awesome strike through there TB!

I'm wondering something - when you get your bags of coins to look through - do you specify only error coins in the bag?

Thanks all! And yes, I make sure they only include error coins or I just give it a pass Nah, but there are lots of good things to find out there in any unsearched bag. The trick, of course, is getting unsearched bags.

True, John, true. But I think even searching coins with your eyes closed you could pull out this one as an error.
