Hey guys. Need help with this coin to know if this is a minting error or not. This is my first time posting so I hope I got it right.

It cannot be an error so it has to be PMD.
Maybe it was modified to fit in a bezel.

The mint does not have any equipment to produce a coin shaped like this, If they did, we would see thousands of them.

This, as stated is damage done to this coin to fit a bezel to make it a jewelry piece.

It appears the images were taken on an angle.
Can you get a clear, well-lit image of the curved part? (Directly above and change the direction the light source is coming from to give the clearest image.)

I'm looking to see if there is any chance this might a collar strike. Looking for evidence of reading inside the "darkness" from the collar die.
I don't see evidence of rim damage on the obverse rim from a bezel.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
