Now here's a tough one. It's both a difficult date to find in good shape, and the doubling is pretty light. But it was strong enough that I was able to see it and pick this on off ebay for $8.50.

Yikes this one is pretty subtle. The two arms of the Y in LIBERTY look evenly sized to me. @tb, where should we be looking for the doubling as it isn't obvious to me? Thx.

It is a DDR not a DDO. Make sure to take care of the spot between the bust and rim. Nice looking coin.

Ok yes I see it now. Sorry for my earlier confusion.

Thanks folks! Yup, it's a subtle variety for sure, but they can't all be majors. I like to post some of these out of the mainstream dies when I find them as a reminder that they are out there and worth giving a look for least on better condition coins.

For me, the shape of the first dot as well as the thickness at the outside of the lower wheat lines compared to the inner line are the focal points to see it as a DDR.
