I am going through a few sets of saved dimes. At 1st I thought these where nail polish or spray paint but under a scope it doesn't look that way? But I am definitely a newbie. It this maybe what they call partial clad layer missing. Or just future bank recycling worthy? Silly calico dimes.2 different bank rolls 2 different years if that helps.

Just stained coins. Note where the tops of the devices has removed the stains. On the real missing clad coins this can happen as the copper is exposed, show the red color, and not a brown color which is what we see on metal detector finds:

Re color. Match with the edge of your coin? They are not the same color. also because of the missing clad layer, thus the devices are weaker because the of the clad layer thickness.

Environmentally stained/toned/altered by chemical or heat damage, post mint. No premium, sorry.

"or" meaning something other than partial missing clad layer.

Others have already provided possible answers.
