What does "ND" stand for in the title?
And is this a quarter, dime, or Half Dime?
Can you provide full obverse and reverse photos?

ND = No Drapery
Has an Eagle rev so it isn't a Half Dime or dime. Half dollars didn't start til 1839 so this is a quarter. And I think it is a closed claw.

an 1838 SL 25C.

I'll request mods to adjust subject line accordingly: my bad.

B/t/w which type claw is more desirable in terms of rarity? What would be the additional premium %wise that one could expect for this one?

I think it looks like an open claws, which is much more common and carries no premium.

Yup after a common sense check, I realized it was a quarter...

Comparing with online examples of the open claw variety, this one seems to match.
