I've no idea even what country it's from. My Dad guessed Ethiopia, but my world coin book is vast. I'm hoping one of you good folk could point me in the right direction. This is my first post, and I've read the rules, but am nervous I'm not in the correct category. Please excuse me if this post is in error.

Not sure of denomination but appears to be from Thailand.

Thank you so much for the welcome! I've inherited my dad's world coin collection and have been actively cataloguing it for about a month. I'm excited to join this community!

When posting a coin for ID always post images of both sides and where possible provide the diameter and weight.

As others have stated, it is a Thai satang coin. The value and year will be on the other side. You can use Creounity Thailand to convert the date.

Assuming that the coin is an a 2x2, with a little maths we can work out the diameter, then it will be a 25 Satang.
