I'm in Southern Cal and will definitely be going to my favorite spot, 45 minute drive from my house, East Fork of the San Gabriel River.
I'm bringing my usual White's GMT but with a slightly different strategy this time. I'm not going back 6 or 7 miles as I have found gold at the 1-3 mile mark.
This time I will be turning over big river rounded boulders and detecting under them..plus the usual crevices in the exposed bedrock of course.
Cannot wait. I will post any finds here ;-)
