I have 3 Walking Liberty half dollars and wanted to check opinions if I should pay to get them graded or just keep them. I'm going through coins and I have so many I want to make sure the ones I get graded are worth paying for. Thank You!

Hi BaseballMom. There are no valuable Walking Liberty halves in well circulated grades from the 1940s. In the 1930s only the 1938-D is valuable in well circulated grades. In the 1920s and 1910s there are many valuable dates in circulated grades. These coins you should save for your kids to remember your grandparents for now. Who knows? Maybe silver values go through the roof and these coins are worth a fortune some day.

These are common circulated Walking Liberty half dollars. Not worth grading, a fair price is 10-12 dollars each.

Thank you all for the feedback! I will save them for my kids. I appreciate the help and honesty in regards to getting coins graded, I would hate to lay out the money if the coin isn't worth anything.
