I went thru 5 obw 1979 rolls and 3 rolls had one each of these. One roll had 2 and the last roll had zero. Kinda cool!

Don't certain collectors try to collect only ms brown Lincolns? Although automatic 3pts for scratch on face and probably 1 pt for carbon spot this coin may get 66 more than likely 65? The picture is not hiding anything. The fields coat and face are exactly as you see them clean as a whistle. the reverse is flawless although weak. Weigh in and let me know if I am on the right track.

Very nice, these are hard to find in good shape. They were beat-up pretty bad fresh from the mint. It looks red to me or RB. The gash on the portrait is pretty deep and the carbon spot distracting - hard to forgive. I'd like to see the best coins you found in these rolls. I've cracked many OBW 79 rolls only to end in disappointment.

Decades of looking and the best one I have found is not even in an Airtite - I'm still looking for a better one!

Even my D has not been qualified by me to be in an airtite. I'm still looking for the right coin!

Hey BadThad, this coin is actually full brown, email me and I will give you one. I found five. And Yes I agree with your post; The 10 or so rolls I went thru had nothing close to good. I quit looking after five rolls then the next day I found one red decent coin and 5 of these brown coins in the second five rolls. The brown coins caught my eye, (I will gladly send you one) so you can match picture to coins I have tried to post. You have been extremely helpful to me on the forum along with so many others.
