When I saw the coin up for auction as MS61, I really did think: "either my IQ has dropped 40 points due to age, or NPG messed this one up". Alas, I can't hold on to most of the coins I buy, but under-graded stuff usually sells for at least a little more than I paid for it, which helps me sustain this expensive hobby of mine. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6396 Posts	Posted 11/29/2021 11:45 am I would have guessed AU-58 but as noted the detail is very strong and evidence of circulation is slight. An uncirculated judgment from NGC is not at all unreasonable. Little or no luster is visible in the photos and lack of luster is the likely justification for the low MS grade.
