I really like struck on split planchet coins, and they tend to be very affordable, often selling for less than $20. It's a lot of error for that price range. I paid $18 for this one.

Something about this one looks off, I just can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's the complete loss of outer devices on the obverse, and it almost seems like the coin thins out even more as it gets to the edges.

Looks like it might be a T-1 blank?

Either way it's an interesting error!

That's a beauty for sure and at a great price as well! Very nice pickup!

T-1 blank? what is that?

Very cool Lincoln Cent TB. Is that also a possible lam on the reverse? or do you think it is part of the split planchet?

Blank or Planchet... here is what error-ref has to say
https://www.error-ref.com/blank-or-...20a%20blank.

Almost looks like a rim tried to form at 12 o'clock reverse

Thanks! And well yeah, the lamination on the reverse is part of the whole split planchet thing, which is sort of just an extreme lamination error so to speak.
