Must agree the reverse has been cleaned at one point, but a straight grade is likely. I think it's a nice type coin at the right price.

I definitely didn't think it was cleaned, I really thought it was a good example with nice details, it's hard to find Seated dollars with this even toned look without distracting marks on the coin. Dealer was asking $900 for it.

I'd say buy a coin if you like it initially, and can't walk away from the deal. Don't buy the coin if you pass it the first time and think about it later. A first impression says a lot and you don't want to get buyer's remorse. There are nice, original examples of Seated dollars out there, you just need to wait a bit longer for them to turn up.

It is not worth $900 imo. Be patient and you will find a nicer example for less money.

I decided to pass on this coin, thank you for all the input in helping me decide.

As for the grade its AU53 by NGC.
