Before anyone jumps on me for being wrong... this coin just looks odd to me. "LIBERTY" and the motto look a little thick, in my opinion. Any help would be appreciated.

That's pretty much normal for 1976 cents. You'll have to get images that light the tops of the devices and the field instead of the sides of the devices in order to see much.
