Been finding a lot of these lately for some reason. But here's a 1951 which isn't a super common date. I do see a lot of slightly tapered 1951-S that come in around 3.03g, but not enough to make me keep any of them.

Nice, what are some of the more uncommon dates you find with tapered planchets?

Thanks! I'd say uncommon is anything outside of 1940-1956. They remain most common on 1952 and 1955, but anywhere in that date range seems like they show up often enough.

Very nice! I do enjoy tapered planchets and this is an exceptional example.
