Haven't found anything for a while so this one I find neat... But, how rare are 1978 small denticles?

Nice find, I have found about a roll of 78's CRH. Not sure my ratio of small to large but with the ARP going on I cant see there being a ton left.

My apologies, CRH= Coin roll hunting. ARP= Alloy recovery program. The Arp has been in place for quite a while now removing precious metals including nickel from circulation coinage.
