I remember this coin being discussed in the past I don't know if a value was ever determined but I think they are scarce and hard to find.

Several years ago, bought one on ebay for $200 (ICCS PL-67) from chadcoins. More recently, PL sets with that dollar have sold for more than $400 in recent TCNC auctions. It may have been two bidders pushing it up, but it showed that it was something collectors wanted.

Yes there is a lot of interest in this variety. They do sell better as a set. Last month on ebay one sold for around $140 but your bigger auctions are way better. SPP I seen you PCGS yours!!

Yes chadcoins, PCGS did call it a DDR, but only as a "minor variety"... I think they would want to see the Charlton catalogue to have it included in their volume two listings, before making it part of any variety registry set.

Question on these sets seeing that the 50 cent coins in these sets are a variety Square bead or Round bead did this DDR dollar come in either set

I sent mine to PCGS a while ago and got no attribution..not even DDR. Could someone provide me with the Charlton number for it so that I can take it to ICCS and actually get it attributed? Please and thanks in advance
