I'm sorry to hear that you feel like you're forced to downsize your collection. This is always tragic, in a way.
Anyway, let's take a look at what you have:
Bag of mixed world coins (approximately 100-150 coins)Unless there's something there of any real value, you've got to know that these aren't going to gather much money. Exceptions: Silver, foreign Crowns, key dates, but the rest will likely be worth anywhere between 3/$1 to a couple of bucks each for the best ones. You can get around this by listing them either separately or in small lots, it would seem to me. Local bid board or Coin Community makes more sense.
ebay isn't all it's cracked up to be these days; this morning's news says that sales were down there by 12% the last three months of 2008, which is a significant amount, and likely will drop further the first quarter of this year, I believe.
U.S. Cents carded from 1916-1958 (all brown, from G-EF) have a little over 100 of these.See above. You have a better bet of getting these to cent collectors yourself than to pay listing fees to do so. You know what they're worth and what the going rate likely is for them, so price accordingly.
3 Canadian silver nickels (1899, 1902, 1914)and
Various modern Canadian coins (tube of 1965 cents, nickels, dimes and quarters from 1960's)Canadian coins seem to be hot
here(see the sale thread), so why would you want to go anywhere else? Condition is key, naturally, but on the silver, you could expect to get at least 8 - 10x face easily anywhere, with the low end from a dealer, and the high end coming from a direct sale to a collector.
2 boxes of unopened "Ocean in View" Jefferson nickelsThis is a toughie. On one hand, there are zillions of them out there. On the other hand, there may be some cachet value to an unopened box. Were there any real significant errors in this series? If so, that may dictate your decision. My gut says you would have better luck flogging these for $3/roll, a price anyone can afford who wants to speculate in a hobby-like fashion.
1964-D Roosy about XF and a 2004 error dime. No clad on reverse with a slight clip. The '64 isn't exactly rare, even in that condition, while the error may be worth a little more. Even there, I would say bid board or local community.
This is only my opinion, mind you, and I will admit freely that due to my own experiences, I am extremely anti-dealer when it comes to selling. Yes, I know they have to eat too; so what?
