My first post was about Chinese cash coins (that were fake) I obtained from my neighbor who passed away. These two coins are the same reason I have them. I looked up how to figure out the year on them, from online and that's what I gathered from that site the years 1396 and 1400. Seems odd at how well the coins look but anyhoo, what do you think?
I also used an app called Maktun to help identify it, and it brought up a similar coin from 1972.

The Saudi Arabian coins use the hegira dating system. so the coins are AH1400 and AH1396, approximately AD1980 and AD1976 respectively.

You can also try using the mobile phone app Coinoscope. It is pretty good.
