And finally, the last of my three queries

This is marked simply as 'Roman'. Its very small

Diameter 7.8mm
Weight: too light for my scales
Bronze?

The emperor's head is just visible and the reverse appears to be stamped with a V, VI or something

This may be too hard to ID but I know there are some real experts on here and I'm curious!

Hard to tell from the pictures, but it might be a monogram of Anastasius reverse. Maybe a nummus of Anastasius I?

...huh. I hadn't noticed the first time, but it does look very much like the Anastasius monogram.

likely a monogram AE4 (nummus) of Anastasius.
