Hello I have recently found this coin while metal detecting I weighed it and it's about 0.2 grams. I'd like to know if it's real or fake. It looks fake to me but I would like the communities opinion all help would be appreciated thank you.

Soft features and tons of extra metal flaking off. You might consider posting the weight and size plus of course the edge in a few places for others. But I'll start this off by saying it is not real.

I just weighed it and it's about 0.2 Grams (it's probably not exact I don't have some professional scale)
And I think it's fake because of the rough surface of it.

@luca, could you please add an image of the edge of this piece to the thread? It will be hard to get very much of it in focus, but your pics are well above average for a first-time poster, so I'm hoping the edge shot will be somewhat clear too. Thx.

I'm not expert enough in these coins to venture an opinion regarding the authenticity. However, I can say that the weight cannot be 0.2 grams. This would correspond to a piece of metal about the size of a pinhead. Can you reweigh more accurately to help those trying to establish whether it's authentic?

Seeker55;

I assumed from that 0.2 grams the scale was set to ounces perhaps. So that would come out to 5.68 grams, which is what the coin might weigh, I don't know of course.
