From the ebay seller I had purchased the Queen Anna Shilling , I send him positive feedback and I decided to see what he had for sale. and found this lovely coin , did some research and sems they are well valued specially in semi good condition. I payed aprox 50$ shipping included for this specimen and I'm quite happy to have purchased , love the art work , now that I just got home I'm going to investigate the history background behind this type of coin and its region. if anyone has info id love to read and learn

Nice coin. Here's a page with some information about Apollodotus I and his coins.

And here's a Wikepedia article about him

I hate to play the Grinch but unfortunately, I don't believe your coin is genuine. A quick check of ebay finds multiple examples cast from the same mold.

Kushan I disagree 1st of all the weight in your ebay examples vary if it were a mold I just check a couple one is 1.83 the other 1.66 etc , 2nd mine has something very distintive on the elefants back on the top part the ebay examples clearly dont , if they did it would be the same specially as on the one I purchased its strongly marked. just my opinion.

The irregularity on the elephant's back is likely due to the mold not being properly filled. Genuine coins of this type are struck, not cast, and should weigh about ~2.4g.

i beg to differ. I did research on sold coins of this particular type and found them to be in varied weights some way more than 2.4
here is one I found that is only 1.3 and that was certified
ill pass you the link

i pay for a subrciption to this website for my antiques purcharsing and selling referances and I found many of the apollodotos vary in weight far from 2.4 below and above likewise and shown in this NGC certified coin.

here is another sold at heritage auctions 1.3 too
so the whole 2.4 weight estimation isn't quite right

The Heritage description is erroneous. They realized something was wrong and added "light in weight". It's light because it's a hemidrachm. Both drachms (~2.4g) and hemidrachms (~1.2g) exist for this type. Any coin which varies significantly from one of these two standards is suspect.

My suggestion is to spend at least as much on books as you are spending on coins. I've been at this as a collector for more than 50 years now and as a professional numismatist specializing in Oriental coins for more than 20 years. I have examined thousands of Indo-Greek coins in hand. I didn't learn it all overnight. In fact I'm still learning, as we all are. As a beginner, it will serve you well to accept answers with an open mind, even those you may not like.

My personal experience is that there are many high-quality fakes in the Indo-Greek area, and I have been fooled several times, so would exercise a high degree of caution.
