Question About These Die Polishing Lines On 1960-D Lincoln

I don't necessarily need a grade. What I need to know in your opinion will the excessive die polishing marks cause a coin to down grade as far as you know or have heard. I have found articles about this particular date and mint mark having excessive lines. Comments in other discussions mentioned that some collectors seek these out while others hate them. For those of you that submit coins are these to be avoided? Report this Post to the Staff

Personally I'm not a huge fan, though it can increase luster and hide imperfections. Report this Post to the Staff

I think it can hide hairlines as well. Does this mean the coin is not an early die state strike? Also you stated about hiding imperfections so my comment about hairlines was dumb. I realize you are one of the top copper experts on the forum. In your opinion avoid a submission with this type? Report this Post to the Staff
