This will be held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th. I recall that parking within the grounds is pay, but here are free tix to the show (PDF file). It's not as nice a venue as the Tech Center in Santa Clara. As I recall, there are no food concessions--and nowhere nearby the fairgrounds. Still, there are coins...and the chance to find a gem lurking somewhere. Have fun!

I just got back from work (Red Bluff, Chico, Oroville, Sacto) and want to go tomorrow... but I got no car and afraid it gonna rain.
So, what did you get? How's the show compare w/ last year?

Today the show seemed smaller/quieter than last year. Perhaps it will pick up for Saturday? I found a couple cool coins...I'll post pics later. I'll probably go back on Saturday for a couple hours...to find something good.

Please keep me update.... I am running low on cash, especially after the holiday so I'll probably won't be able to buy any coins for a couple of month.... but I would love to hear what people get/bought at shows in current market.
Thanks for the info.

As a final update on the show, I was a bit surprised how empty the place was on a Saturday. It felt a lot like the Santa Rosa show, but that was a friendlier group. Perhaps fallout from the economy? Bruce, I don't think you missed a lot. I found a few nice coins, but after a lot of work.

Kurt, I am glad that your trip was productive.
"fallout from the economy"... may be we can have a poll asking people if they will reduce their coins acquirsition because of the current and future economic condition.....
Happy Lunar New Year to you, your family and everyone else.
