When looking at listings for that year, you will see that that area is never considered as a RPM. http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20L...%201972S.htm Note the listing with the heavy MMP damage on this listing of a North: http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20L...2SRPM002.htm Note the spread on the upper serif, that is the north that is the RPM on this die. (Also the center of the lower loop area is higher than normal. But above the MMPD. Report this Post to the Staff
