This is a nice higher grade example, perhaps high AUish, cataloging around 25 dollars, so 15 may not be all that bad for this coin. Now I wonder if that annoying dark spot behind Britannia might be helped with acetone of the 100% type? You can get it graded if you please, but I would rather do that to more valuable coins, like over 100 dollars or so. (Fyi and for others help, the high tide as windweaver77 has is the most common variety where the low tide is the valuable type ).

Common or not, its a really nice coin. I mean have you seen the average 1902 penny and then compare that to yours!

I agree with the AU grade, at first glance it looks BU, but you can see light rubbing on her legs above the knee, her breasts, top of the helmet mouthvisor and her right arm, all the usual spots for early wear. The king has a few dings and lines, but looks great, only lightest rubbing on the top of his cheekbones (AU55/58) - British gEF to AU (More AU).

I would waste money on slabbing, you don't need that to tell your coin is beautiful, invest though at least in a quality coin holder or place in the cabinet!

A fantastic coin!

This is a very nice

Thanks for the second opinion. I thought it a nice example,as well.

Just something about a Brittania.
