1957 D Wheat Penny Error? - Coin Community Forum

Found one where the L on liberty looks a bit further from the I, than the other 1957 D I have. Just want to know if this is circulation or error? Report this Post to the Staff

Please don't post up screen shots. they are too pixelated and the reflection is interfering with the examination of the coin. CentSation Pillar of the Community United States 713 Posts	Posted 12/20/2021 07:24 am Use the mintmark location and the filled B as markers to look for similar varieties. For instance, ddo-1 has a similar B in a later stage and the mint mark position is close. That being said, it doesn't appear to be ddo-1. It is up to you to use clues to find a possible match.
